Weekend Racing Boathandling (Saturday & Sunday)

Offered in two levels. Level One for those wanting an introduction to spinnaker handling and general racing boathandling. Level Two for those who currently race as helmsperson and who want to fine tune their boathandling skills. Note: This is a boathandling only course - time does not permit coverage of starting, tactics, strategy or boat to boat racing.

12 hours on the water
1 classroom hour

Tuition: One Person $495, Two or more $475 each, Alumni $450

Prerequisites: Level One students should be able to presently day sail a boat with confidence and as a helmsperson be able to tack, jibe, sail on a designated point of sail and trim the sails appropriately. Level Two students should have experience helming a boat while racing and should be comfortable helming a boat in all racing environments. You should also know how to use a spinnaker.
